This was my first LEGO game, and I enjoyed it immensely. It’s simple enough that my 5 year old can have a great time with it, yet there’s enough content in the form of collectibles and whatnot that it kept me hooked for the duration. Accordingly it’s also great fun for co-op with the kids. There’s a ton of charm here, and at several spots I found myself whisked away to my gaming days of yore when exploration and fun was the order of the day. I enjoyed this one enough to see it through to 100% completion. Some may disapprove of the humor and lightheartedness injected into the Batman mythos, but really I feel like this is a great way to introduce your young ones to the Batman universe.
